Privacy Policy
Last updated: Today (Prototype Phase)
Elafda is intentionally anonymous. We do not ask you to create an account. A pseudonymous username is generated locally; it never leaves your device except inside the rooms you join.
We do not store long‑term chat history. Messages live in memory for the duration of your session. Closing or refreshing may purge local state. This prototype uses only local client state; no centralized database currently persists your content.
No ad tech, trackers, fingerprinting scripts, social pixels, or covert analytics libraries are embedded. Basic privacy‑respecting telemetry may be added later—with clear disclosure and opt‑in.
Direct Messages and room content are not encrypted end‑to‑end in this prototype. Do not share sensitive personal information.
We may evolve toward optional persistence or moderation logs strictly to protect users from abuse, but only with explicit transparency.
If you have concerns or suggestions, contact us via the Contact page. Continuous improvement of privacy is a core commitment.
